One would hope that what is written here is original and insightful. If not, don’t waste your time reading this, you’ve probably thought about all of this already all by yourself. We live our lives in the context of our times. We must reexamine what we do, how we feel, what we think in our own terms and not the terms foist upon us by the dictates of our current culture. Think about what living in another age would force upon us and think about what we would do if what was expected of us was the common thinking of a less enlightened time (or, perhaps a more enlightened one). Act accordingly. If, as Newton said, we have seen further than others, it is indeed because we have stood upon the shoulders of giants. Let us attempt to be giants so others may see even further.
